A Student Experience...
"We have been to Greenwich too.
Here, we have visited The Royal Observatory of Greenwich: house of time, the Prime Meridian and London’s only planetarium timekeepers.
At the Queen’s House, a royal residences We walked around its streets and we went shopping to Greenwich Market, where you can find vintage items and also new ones".
"We had our accommodation in Greenwich at the Avery Hill College, and we had the opportunity to visit the city; this gave us a vision of the United Kingdom from another point of view. Greenwich is the typical English city, but less crowded and without all the monuments. It allowed us to have an idea of a typical English town. We have learned to orientate ourselves, becoming more responsible and mature. This experience have allowed us to know new people, both from our school and inside the college, and to deal with a reality that is completely different from our normal lives. Last but not least we have now important new skills that will be helpful for our lives in the future and our work".
