The students visited London many times during their stay, by day and by night. They were able to visit tourist attractions as well as sampling local communities and different neighborhoods.
The students traveled by train, bus, tube, DLR, overground and boat, experiencing London transport system at its best. They explored markets, and sample different varieties of cuisine. A Student Experience...
"Probably this is one our best experience since going to London has been always one of our biggest dream. During this month we have visited a lot of things more than we expected. We have had the opportunity to visit almost all the places in London, from smallest to largest, in different points of view. We have visited a lot of monuments: London is a whole series of very interesting and in some ways surprising buildings. Seeing them in the entire history of London full of charm and events.
Visiting London’s museums means to dive in the world’s most fascinating places of art. The British Museum alone is worth the trip. London is also known for its squares always crowded with tourists and the wonderful and relaxing parks at its disposal such as Hyde Park and St. James Park.
We have visited the best streets and shops where we could give vent to our hunger for shopping like Piccadilly and Oxford Circus, Camden Town and Covent Garden".
"Every day we discovered new traditions, customs and lifestyles; for a quite long period we have lived closely with a reality we didn’t know, learning other points of view on life. For us the best experience was the National Gallery because every picture gave as many different emotion; moreover there we found many Italian masterpieces, and in this way we felt like all the kilometres that separated us from home had been cancelled. We have seen the most representative monuments of London, such as the Big Ben and the Tower Bridge. In Piccadilly Circus we had the occasion to do shopping and at the same time deal with an unknown background".
"We have spent 4 weeks in Avery hill college of Greenwich. Beyond to study we have done a lot of excursions during which we have visited all the best beauties of London. During these excursions we have had funny so much. While we walked around the city we almost always sang songs to enjoy more. Talking about our project again, on Wednesday we made a presentation for which we are happy for its development because we have managed to be funny to make our project interesting and to involve the audience, which is the most important thing in our opinion. This project has managed the great because with our passion for music we have learnt to speak English more fluently and to improve our media skills".
